Well, between 11am and 4pm this Saturday you’ll get the chance!  We’ll be extending access to our private garden and they’ll be plenty of refreshments available along the way.  Donations raised will go to support our local community swimming pool. Hope you can join us!

shutterstock_19298983Due to popular demand, we have decided to re-open earlier than planned and will be open from Saturday 27th Feb 2016.  Opening each week Wednesday through to Sunday 12 noon until 5pm.

We can’t promise warm, dry weather but we can promise a warming pot of tea and comforting cakes, so pop out to see us soon.

Crime and Punishment in Firle 1815-1850

On 7th September, The Little Cottage Tea Rooms are pleased to present another in our series of walk and talk lunches. Did you watch ‘secrets from the clink’ last night?, well here’s your chance to find out more about the local history. Walk leader and local historian Andrew Lusted will present the story of nine men from Firle sentenced to be transported to Australia. During the walk you’ll re-visit the scenes of their crimes, this will be followed by lunch at the Little Cottage Tea Rooms.

Cost: £9.50 including lunch or just the walk for £5.
