“There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to
the ceremony known as afternoon tea”.
Henry James – The Portrait of a Lady
Our Afternoon Tea is a delightful way to enjoy a pre-opera treat before visiting the famous Glyndebourne Opera House or it can be a way to celebrate birthdays, engagements, a get together with friends or even serve as a wedding breakfast. The indulgence of afternoon tea has been around since the 1800s and we are only too happy to carry on this tradition. Our tea room is licenced so why not add some sparkling for that extra special touch. We request you to book your Afternoon Tea at least 24 hours in advance by calling us on 01273 858215 to reserve your table. Alternatively, why not simply enjoy a classic cream tea served anytime.
